Terms of Service
By booking or using services provided by Kleen Kar Detailing, you agree to the following terms:
1. Services
Kleen Kar Detailing provides professional vehicle detailing, restoration, and protection services. All services are carried out with due care and skill using industry-standard equipment and products.
Service outcomes may vary depending on the vehicle’s condition, age, and prior treatments.
2. Bookings & Deposits
Bookings may require a deposit to secure an appointment.
- Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment
- Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of the deposit
- No-shows will result in loss of deposit
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather, safety, or operational requirements.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate booking information
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed time
- Remove all personal belongings and valuables prior to service
Kleen Kar Detailing is not responsible for any personal items left inside the vehicle.
4. Vehicle Condition & Risk
By engaging our services, you acknowledge:
- Pre-existing damage (including scratches, chips, worn paint, or trim deterioration) may become more visible after detailing
- Certain processes (e.g. paint correction, cleaning, or restoration) may reveal underlying defects
- Results are dependent on the condition of the vehicle and cannot be guaranteed to meet showroom-new condition unless explicitly stated
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Kleen Kar Detailing is not liable for pre-existing damage or faults
- We are not responsible for mechanical or electrical failures that occur during or after service
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Payments
Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking or upon completion of the service unless otherwise arranged.
We reserve the right to withhold release of the vehicle until full payment has been received.
7. Satisfaction & Rework
If you are dissatisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion.
We will assess the concern and, where appropriate, provide a rework. Refunds are not provided for completed services.
8. Cancellations
- More than 48 hours’ notice → deposit transferable
- Less than 48 hours → deposit may be forfeited
- No-shows → deposit forfeited
9. Changes to Services
We reserve the right to modify services, pricing, or offerings at any time without prior notice.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
